December: Masked Bell Ringers for Salvation Army
Club Happy Dollars (Thanksgiving to Christmas) go into the kettle.
Our Foothills Kiwanis Club helped raise over $25,000 for the Salvation Army of Broomfield!
Like most years: some ringing shifts are warm, some are cold, and some ringers are pretty dang "chill."
December 19th, four Foothill Kiwanis members participated in
the “Wreaths Across America” program. Wreaths Across America lays Christmas wreaths on the gravesites of those who served our country nobly. Veterans are honored at Christmas by placing wreaths on their markers. This year, club members placed the wreath on a veteran’s grave at Elmwood Cemetery, 14800 Brighton Road, in Brighton.
