Activities

Community
service activities of the Foothills Kiwanis Club pictured above are --
- Sponsorship of the
annual Young Children Priority One Golf Tournament to raise funds for the
Denver Children's Hospital Pediatric Institute and other children's support
organizations. In 2007, the tournament raised $12,500 (and over the 14 years
it has been held, more than $160,000) to benefit children. This event is held
in early June at the Lake Valley golf course in north Boulder.
- Financial support
and volunteer time contributed to the Boulder Mapleton Rehabilitation Center,
which provides physical therapy and various rehabilitation programs for children
in the Boulder/Denver area. Shown above is Foothill Kiwanis 2005-2006 President-Elect

due in part to $10,000 provided by the Foothills Kiwanis Club through it's
various fund-raising activities.

Salvation Army bell-ringing to collect contributions at a Boulder or Louisville
location. Over the past ten years, our club has collected nearly $250,-000
in donations, winning each year the Salvation Army Bell-Ringing Award for
the most donations collected by any Boulder County volunteer group. Shown
